About The Contest
The first ever Olympiad of Misguided Geeks contest at Worse Than Failure (or OMGWTF for short) is a new kind of programming contest. Readers are invited to be creative with devising a calculator with the craziest code they can write. One lucky and potentially insane winner will get either a brand new MacBook Pro or comparable Sony VAIO laptop.
Entry #100150: No math, no brainer.
The basic problem behind most of the WTFs that we see is inexperience. New developers may not be aware of all of the functions available in the libraries, chips, or API.
That's fine, but the problem is when you don't think to look for a better idea and just brute force your own implementation. It's very rare that a problem has not been considered before by another developer somewhere in the world. After all, if you were really working on something wholly novel, you'd be good.
This submission takes that idea to the limit. What if someone didn't know about the basic mathematical operations and stopped reading after learning about ++ and --?
As an added bonus, this submission has no clichés.
