About The Contest
The first ever Olympiad of Misguided Geeks contest at Worse Than Failure (or OMGWTF for short) is a new kind of programming contest. Readers are invited to be creative with devising a calculator with the craziest code they can write. One lucky and potentially insane winner will get either a brand new MacBook Pro or comparable Sony VAIO laptop.
Entry #100185: Xomgwtf:Big Buggy Quackulater
This is the Xomgwtf:BBQ! It's big, it's much less buggy, and pretty screwed up little tech-demo. This Cthulhian nightmare turns your C++ compiler into something close to an INTERCAL compiler! The demo of this amazing program is using the C-INTERCAL 90 libraries to run a GUI Calculator!
This is the final version, and is a patch release to my second entry (it corrects the fact that 'Err' is strictly required in response to division by zero). I wasn't originally planning on writing my own GUI, so I skimmed that part of the rules and FAQ. WTF, Whatever.
It fixes a lot of problems that the first entry had. I wasn't going for wildly buggy. In fact, I'm hoping for 2 buffer overflows reported by Coverity and nothing else.
